LEGAL NOTICE OF FILING FOR A CHANGE IN WATER RATES BY
INDIANA WATER SERVICE, INC.

Notice is hereby given that Indiana Water Service, Inc. (“IWSI”), under and pursuant to the Public Service Commission Act, as amended on April 23, 2010, has filed with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (“IURC”) for an increase in the schedule of rates and charges for water sold by its water utility. IWSI purchases all water from Indiana-American Water Company, Inc. (“IAWC”). This increase is from the approved tariffs effective October 20, 2010 pursuant to Cause No. 42351 DSIC-6. The increase is in the amount of a $ 0.09 per 1,000 gallons. This is a wholesale water cost tracker applicable to all customers of IWSI based solely upon the change in the cost of water purchased IAWC and shall apply for the next practical consumption period following final approval, anticipated on September 30, 2011, by the Commission in accordance with IC 8-1-2-42.
